Description

Claim Listing for WP Job Manager

Claim Listing for WP Job Manager adds the functionality for users to claim ownership of existing listings on a job board powered by the WP Job Manager plugin. This feature is particularly useful for directories, business listings, or recruiter boards where admins might input listings on behalf of companies or individuals.

Once the plugin is enabled, each listing includes a “Claim Listing” button. Logged-in users can request to claim the listing, triggering a workflow that notifies the admin. The admin can then approve or reject the claim and optionally charge a fee through WooCommerce integration. This monetizes the claiming process and maintains listing accuracy by involving the actual business owner.

Technically, the plugin is coded in PHP and integrated tightly with WP Job Manager’s core structure. It uses user roles and post meta to manage claim status, and it introduces new admin fields to track and review claims. The interface is streamlined to match the WP Job Manager UI, providing a consistent user experience.

For directories looking to verify and engage real business owners or job posters, Claim Listing adds a powerful layer of credibility and monetization.

Key Features:

  • “Claim Listing” option on job posts
  • Admin review and approval workflow
  • WooCommerce integration for paid claims
  • Tracks claim status via post meta
  • Seamless UI with WP Job Manager
